I love the idea of these wheels, and they are definitely easier on the floor, but they roll a lot. Like, you could easily ride a chair around the house like a scooter with these things on. Which is kind of awesome, but not so much when you're trying to work or game. If you live in an old house, and your floors aren't perfectly level, it adds another level of fun. My office floor slopes slightly away from my desk, so I have to hook my feet over the rail under my desk to stay in place. I'll probably end up going back to regular casters. They would be really good on shag carpet or a well-padded rug.They are very sturdy and the materials all seem high quality. Removing the original wheels was a bit difficult, but installing these was a breeze.

Overall, this product is really good, and I'm really happy with it. The wheels are soft and don't damage my floor, and they seem pretty durable and well constructed. The wheels turn smoothly and it's easy to roll the chair. I've used mats on the floor before, and this is absolutely a better solution.There are a couple relatively small downsides. First, the wheels add an inch or so of height compared to the regular wheels (for me, this was a downside, but if you need a higher chair, it could instead be an upside). Second, the wheels roll a bit too well. If I'm not sitting in it, the chair now has a tendency to roll away (I think my floor might be a tiny bit tilted).In the end, I really do like the wheels, and I would buy again.

Do not purchase. Total garbage. Fit well initially but now two wheels are bent where the ball bearings/casters meet the peg that inserts into the chair. I sit in the chair about three hours a week max and they did not last even two months.

Four of the wheels are fine. The fifth one is garbage though. The ball bearings fell out and now the wheel is bent and my chair doesn't roll very well at all. I can't say I'd recommend these to anyone.

As described, these wheels replaced the factory Ikea wheels on my home office chair and the results are amazing. The wheels are super smooth on our laminate floors and I'm less concerned about damage or scratching the floor as much. Very easy to move, swivel, and glide the chair as needed.

Easy to install. Really quiet. Almost rolls too easily, can slide out from under you. Need to grab the chair as you sit. Love them.The original wheels that came with the chair marked up our floors before we realized it.

The wheel material is soft so these wheels will not damage your new floor.

Bearings started to fall out and wheels were at awkward angle making chair hard to roll. Someone dropped a small pretzel and when the chair rolled over (with someone in it) the wheel completely buckled...pretty sure it broke one of the “legs” cause of the fall. Not good for long heavy duty use. Had since July so about 5 months.
