Ender 3 Creality 3D Printer Glass Bed, Upgraded Heated Bed Build Plate Surface 235x235x4mm with 4 Compression Springs

Bought this as an upgrade to my print bed since the stock bed was starting to get marred up and not able to hold prints anymore. decided to upgrade to a glass bed and heard some good things about this bed. Install was a breeze, came packed well. Springs were pretty solid and were quite a bit stronger than the stock springs on the print bed.Calibrated the printer and started having problems, no matter what I tried I could not get anything to stick to it. seemed like everything I was doing was not working and I was getting frustrated. Eventually I came across some other reviews stating that you had to clean the bed till a thin yellow film that was on the build surface stopped showing up on a clean paper towel using rubbing alcohol. Did exactly that, cleaned until the yellow stuff didn't show on a paper towel and like that the build plate was nice and tacky at temp and hard when cooled!So if you get this build plate, you may need to give it a good scrub down with rubbing alcohol. dampen a paper towel just a bit and clean till the yellow junk on the build surface no longer comes up. should print like a dream from there.

Overall I'm very happy with this bed. However. after many, many prints the dark coating is starting to chip off. Mostly in the middle where the majority of the prints are. This is starting to cause prints to have fist layer issues. I'm just going to switch to regular plate glass in the future unless they get rid of or change the coating.

Product came just as described. Solid and flat ultrabase style print surface. Prints stick great and release with ease once the bed temps have cooled down!

Replaced my previous glass bed with this bed, and discovered that the bed is not flat. Prior glass bed had no issues and wanted to try the coated glass. The bed sags in the center. Might be just the one I got but for the price there are many similar options available.

My glass arrived looking like the one in the other guy's pic -- all beat up and covered in globby adhesive.

NOT GENUINE CREALITY! HORRIBLE RUINED MY BED PLATE WITH STICKY ADHESIVE THAY WONT REMOVE! DO NOT BUY NOTHING STICKS TO IT!

Love the quality of this glass build plate. Prints stick phenominally and once the bed cools down the print comes off with ease. The springs are an added bonus!
