True to life careful with the tracks - a little light ons sturdiness

It was easy to assemble. Whistle works well. Not too loud.When I received my set, one of the tracks were factory defected. I sent an email to customer service and explained what happened. Within 2 hrs I had already gotten a very kind and apologetic response. They not only made it good but sent me a whole new box. I received my new train in just a few days. Great customer service. Santa brought my 6 year old this. He was hesitant bc there were some less than perfect reviews but overall for the price this was a good deal so far. It’s a little hard to keep in the track. The “smoke” has a weird smell but it’s actually gotten better and less Smokey with more use. In his half asleep trying to assemble toys in the dark state, Santa removed the wrong screws to put batteries in and revealed the underbelly of the train. Appears to be a little water reservoir for the steam to come from. Seems like basic mechanical parts so things can be adjusted and “fixed” to a certain extent which is nice when most toys break and they’re done. They are pretty Flemsy parts but honestly for the price I don’t expect a forever toy. It’s cute and something he will always remember. Couldn’t find this on the product info when purchasing but it takes 4 AA batteries FYI. Track is easy to put together but my 6 year old hasn’t figured it out yet so needs help with tracks and with making sure all the wheels are on the track which is tricky on the curves so set it on a straight path to start it out.

At its price point, it's probably worth the money. It's fun to look at and the battery life is decent. That being said, it's very loud, the smoke irritates my nose and that of my dogs, and the smoke itself ran out in about an hour with no mention of how to refill or replace the element that creates it. Finally, the track pieces are very flimsy. They break extremely easily and don't fit together very well. Again, for the price point I expect some of this, but a slightly higher quality to remove all the clattering, stink, and perhaps a volume control for the train sounds would be really helpful.

It didn’t last 10 minutes wouldn’t stay on the track where are the cars clipped to the other cars, it broke off it’s literally an utter piece of junk. Would love my money back..Update, the seller reached out to me and is doing everything in their power to make it right. I am very appreciative of the quick response. their willingness to help resolve my issues. Very kind and professional highly recommend the seller.

This cute little train is perfect for Littles. The tracks click together very easily and are sturdy so won't snap when assembling like previous train sets we have had. The train even has real smoke coming out which the kids LOVED

The train set is a nice addition to our Christmas decorations and looks cool as it travels around the Christmas tree. The engine makes train sounds and produces a small puff of smoke from the stack. It only took a few minutes to set it up and get it running. It also has a small light on the front, which is more decorative than functional. My son is mesmerized watching the train travel around the tree.

Why does the train need stinky smoke? Literally so cute but then the carcinogenic burning smell infiltrates my nostrils and makes me wonder just how many years this smell is taking off my life. It’s the most powerful burnt plastic stink I’ve ever endured. But like… you want to run the train because it’s cute… and then you expose yourself to a life-limiting odor.
