For Trump 2020 Flag, but will use it for theme flags as well.

There was paint in the area where you have to attach it, but I scraped it off and was able to get it assembled. I used a tie wrap to attach to open end so there wouldn't be any chance of the flag escaping. All in all, it's a sturdy, good quality flag holder and I recommend buying it 😁

The stand assembled beautifully, though the package contained only the pieces of the stand and the wind clip, with no instructions. If you have problems with the joints of your fingers, you might want to have someone help you.I'm sure this will look lovely in my yard, AFTER I replace the defective clip that is meant to keep the wind from flipping the flag around. The one included with the pole fell apart as I was threading it onto the pole. My choices were to return the entire assembly for complete replacement (at this point I have no confidence a replacement clip would fare any better than the original, since the problem was that the loop was too small for the pole in the first place); to purchase a heavy duty needle, thread and thimble to sew the loop back together (the cheap glue was part of the problem); or purchase clips from another dealer. Any of these choices mean extra money and/or time, which I really can't afford, as I'm on a fixed income, and have already waited close to a year to be able to get the flag and stand I wanted.

Love this stand. It looks great and is actually quite stable. However, when I received it, it had a defect in the threads of one of the connecting pieces and I could not put it together. My husband was able to do some magic and was able to get the pieces to go together. Otherwise, I would have needed to ship it all back, even though I just needed to replace one of the connector pieces. I was unable to find contact information for the company, so contacting them about the issue was not really an option. Thank goodness for handy husbands!

This garden flag stand seems to be good quality - it's held up pretty well this winter, through ice, snow, and wind. That said, the flag does seem to flip back over the top of the stand more than I'd expect - I'm not sure if this is an issue with the flag or the stand clip not being as weighted as it should be. Leaning towards the latter as I'm not sure it makes sense to make a heavier flag, and I don't know how you'd really do that. It's easy enough to flip back, but it's annoying nonetheless.Maybe I just have unrealistic expectations for a garden flag. Who knows. It's really only been an issue on especially windy days, so not a huge deal, and our flag has stayed on the stand through it all.Again, good, quality product that we're overall quite happy with.
