Great upgrade over factory 3x
The front derailleur and shifter were not working correctly on my daughter's 24" bike so she always left it in one gear. Might as well make the bike a 1x with the 30t. Eliminated the non functioning front gears, made her life simpler, and lost a ton of weight over stock. Like 804 grams ton of weight! The gearing is also in between her stock 24/34 so it is better overall too. I use the same crank but a 36t on my mountain bike I convert to 1x10. So far so good.

Not good won't hold a chain on it actually almost holds the chain to tight if you pedal backwards it will cause it to drawn down the sprocket in a way it shouldn't seems to thick or the teeth are machined wrong
