by AmazonMen's 3 blade razor with 19 cartridges

I bought this product last October and I've just inserted my third blade. The razor is reassuringly heavy and blades are as good as more expensive brands. I do only shave once, occasionally twice, per week. Well worth a try. Can be slightly fiddly to load the blade but one on it is sturdy.

I was sceptical, given the price - and the fact that I had inadvertently ordered the 3-blade instead of the 5-blade version. In transit, quite a few of the blades had fallen out of their clip housing, which made more even more sceptical. But the proof was in the shave. I have been shaving for over 40 years and I have to say that the experience was perfectly adequate. No nicks, smooth glide and a fairly close shave. Using the tried and tested "feel every follicle with your hands" that anyone shaving conducts directly after drying revealed that it there was still a tiny bit of discernible stubble on the surface, but, as I say - it was adequate, given the price and the fact it is only a 3-blade wet razor. The after affects were more noticeable - there was some irritation on my lower neck from the lubristrip and it may take a while for my skin to get use to that. Very happy with the results at such a reasonable price.

(Husband reviewing)The swivel head makes for a very comfortable shave. The blades are shallow, so will not inflict a deep cut, but they are sharp and retain their sharpness very well. They are also easy to fit to the head, so long as you remember than the blue lubricating strip is at the bottom.Excellent value

These are like marmite you like or dont like me did not like felt they lost sharpness after a little while compared to some blades i have bought over the years

Blades are not sharp enough hairs left or face cut absolutely rubbish do not buy

Al cheap blades that I have tried in the past have been dreadful; like trying to shave with a piece of rusty corrugated iron, their only saving grace was being so cheap that throwing them did not hurt the wallet. Then I saw these. £10 for twenty blades marketed under the Amazon name. Because of this I bought them. 13 months on and I still have ten left plus a new one in the razor. An average of seven weeks per blade. Excellent.Advice. Always dry them by blotting action. Makers say don't, but water is very acid and it eats away at the edge making it serrated like a miniature bread knife.

Okay for the price, and much better than disposables but..... they dont give a close shave or chaff skin if you try a second pass. The blades feel to be sharp, so its likely poor design. disappointed.
