10/10! I dusted off my old Stihl RE90 pressure washer and it wouldn’t start. The entire thing was healthy from the hoses all the way to most of the power cord. I noticed some rust of the GFCI though. I called my local Stihl dealership and they suggested a new GFCI and cord for like 50 bucks. I looked on amazon and the replacement GFCI unit was under 20! Got to my house the next day. Install took 2 minutes. It’s actually an OEM part on my pressure washer! Plugged it in and is showed power and the test to confirm the GFCI was working! Fired me up. Saved a lot of money on a new pressure washer comparatively.

Perfect replacement to fix a bad electrical cord.

The build quality inside and out of these is surprisingly excellent.I embed these inside vacuum tube receivers as a bulletproof safety hazard solution to vintage 'hot chassis' designs.Most of which use 'death capacitors' as part of the voltage doubling power supply, and transient suppression in the accessory mains switched/unswitched power plug many of these receivers feature.Death capacitors named so due to these capacitor's failure potential to short to chassis thus creating a lethal shock hazard to the user. Note that 'hot chassis' vintage gear use un-polarized mains plugs, which is also part of the problem.Up until a few weeks ago, I was unaware of the existence of 'self-resetting' GFCI modules that bear safety agency certification. These do and with self-reset, eliminates the need for user access to reset the module in event of fault.The use of such obviates the need for replacing 'death capacitors' with type Y or type X safety-rated capacitors while providing a safety earth ground if a three-conductor power cord is retrofit.

Used this gfci plug to repair girlfriends Ryobi 1700 1.2 gpm pressure washer. Used the new rubber wire grommet that came with the plug, black wire to gold, white wire to silver. Fired right up. Very pleased! : - )

Perfectly replaced the broken part! Thankful I didn't have to buy a new power washer!
