The bulb was fairly straight forward to put into the fitting I have, it went in like a regular bayonet cap bulb and can function as a traditional light.The setup was a matter of getting the app, setting up the bulbs WiFi connection and setting a name for the light.After I had that done,I could change the lights with a colour wheel with tones of white or colours with a colour wheel.I remember that to set it up with the Amazon echo anyway, you go to the app and pair it. After that you can then say for example "Alexa,turn on the light" and it will. You can also set up a set time for the light to come on.My only complaint is that it will sometimes be unresponsive but usually all you have to do is turn it off and back on again at the wall.Overall I think it's a very well made and valued product

Spent an hour trying to connect 2 bulbs to WiFi through alexa dot. Didn't work.ligjts flashing to no response on alexa

Easiest item I have ever connected to the router. Simple to set up

TERRIBLE! Connects to Home Kit (apple software) and then when you come home and try to turn lights on it says no response from them. To reset it you have to reboot them, never works first go always takes about 10 attempts but if you have 2 bulbs on 1 switch it’s a nightmare to reset them both because 1 is not working. Cheap to buy but very cheap in quality. Shame as when they did work the colours were great

Working well. Easy to get working with Alexa through the Refoss app. Nice colours and adjustable brightness makes for a relaxing light
