After being frustrated trying to get the hook/loop fasteners on my greenhouse window flap to work, I decided to install snaps. This set appeared ideal, and while I won't need 400 snaps to secure the greenhouse window, there will be many other uses for these in the future. Not only does this set include 400 snap sets (each set includes 2 button tabs, a plug and a socket), but also a screwdriver, awl, crimp tool and replacement setting parts. For my installation through the greenhouse wall, I located the snap positions, pushed the button tab through from the back, pressed on the socket and had a helper inertial backstop the tab with a 4# engineering hammer. Then using a small ball-peen hammer and the replacement press pin indcluded with this set, I was easily able to flatten the pin on the button tab. The snap socket was easily attached to the greenhouse flap using the included crimp tool. Yes - I mashed a couple with the hammer setup, but the crimp tool worked perfectly - all of the sockets were installed without damage. I could NEVER have done this with a metal snap set, and these plastic snaps hold very well. I am Very happy with this purchase.

I am making cord keeper / wraps as part of Christmas gifts this year so I dug out my old metal snaps. They were so hard to get aligned and the teeth kept bending the wrong way so I searched online and found these. They work wonderfully! The tool that came with it works well, it seems a little flimsy, but does come with extra pieces. I appreciate all the different colors of snaps and the awl that’s included. So far I’ve only used the snaps with quilting cotton and thin iron on interfacing, but no issues going through the fabric or holding firm. As of right now, I’d order these again!

I use these for thread beds, for my cross stitch project bags that I make. I like that everything you need comes with the kit, and it's very easy to use. There's also a great variety of colors, and they even give you tiny little Ziploc bags to put them in after you open each color.

I realized I did not have the correct snap pliers for installing T5 plastic snaps only the one for metal snaps. This is a great value and gave a nice finish to the closure on the little wallets I have been making. Much easier to install than the metal type snaps. So far they hold well in place and I was able to install the snaps quickly in seconds. The snaps have a smooth finish and just the right size for my projects. The snaps are easy to close and hold securely. The entire set had a better price than going to the craft store where they sell the pliers without any accessories. These will come in handy for many projects in the future.

I started sewing recently and haven’t learned to add button holes or zippers to my daughter’s dresses so I got these and they are perfect! You get a great amount with a lot of different colors. I really like that it comes with little baggies to put your snaps in once you open the other bag-makes keeping track way easier.The snaps work great! Haven’t had any issues with them coming off but I am pretty careful when I’m opening them anyway. They are super easy to use and the kit comes with everything you need to add them. I looked through quite a few brands and this is the one I landed on and I’m glad I did!

I really wanted this to work! I don't know how so many people had success with this item, but for me doesn't work. I really liked how colorful the snaps are and the installation is pretty easy, but the snaps don't stay together. They come apart pretty easily, which is not what I want. Not sure if it's me or not...
