If you have an unmanageable mane like mine, this product will let you free your natural locks with helpful assistance. My hair is so wiry and thick that my curls just go everywhere. I have natural curl in my hair and often deal with frizz. I bought this Marc Anthony Define & Hold Flex Hair Styling Gel so that my curls would be defined and not frizzy. I am very happy with this product! It did a great job of defining my curls but with a soft feel, not sticky or crunchy at all. And you can see in the photos how shiny my hair is! Also, these pictures were taken at the end of the day, so it looked even better earlier on. But even though it was the end of the day, I did not have frizz; it did a great job with that!The day I took these photos, I let my hair airdry, I usually style my hair that way. And I used about 2 pumps of gel. Then I did use a bit of hairspray once my hair was dry. It also has a light, pleasant scent. I highly recommend this to anyone needing to define curls and keep away frizz.

As a new bee in the curly hair routine. I loved this product as it has great hold and shine. The gel doesn’t contain any odor so it doesn’t smell like anything. It’s not flaky at all. It defines and gives shine to your curls!!! It has gray texture along with shea butter. It keeps your curls frizz free and with long lasting shine. Worth the buy!!!

I got this because I needed something that would control freeze. I have curly hair and used Volumax gel back in the day. That does not exist anymore. So, the past 5 years, I’ve been using cream and things were fine until mine stopped working for whatever reason. Recently went to Puerto Rico and used cream but it was so humid that it was like there was no product on my hair. Terrible. I tried this gel and it does exactly what it says it does. Definitely controls freeze and my hair looks like i want it to look. No need to re-apply the following days. It stays on and works great. However, the hair feels hard like wire. You cannot run your fingers through it. If you brush the hair, it may hurt. It makes the hair look dry. This being said, if I don’t find anything else that works for my hair, I will keep using it

For a quality wash and go wet look product this is 20 out of 10!!!! For the 2c-4c girls- we have a product!!!!!!! I will be stocking up and handing this out to all the friends from all cultures who have been looking for the perfect wet gel! Heavy enough for thick hair but not sticky , greasy and smells superb!!! It’s effective, quality, and a must have! Also your hair is left soft!
